When medicinal products were introduced to alleviate pain and control ailing health conditions, there remained strong believers in the effectiveness and wholesomeness of Mother Nature.
Conservative healers continued to study and observe the transitions and productivity of healing methods, which ultimately resulted in some of the most effective therapies from which we benefit today. Esodynamics is one of these therapies.
Esodynamic derives from the Greek words:
- Esoteric = from within
- Dunamis = strength/force

What is Esodynamic therapy?
|
|
Esodynamics is a soft touch therapy that relies on a unique testing method to detect impingements inhibiting the human body’s support systems. Once the interruptions have been detected, the Esodynamic therapy can help to alleviate or eliminate the malfunctions and help restore the support systems to their optimum condition.
The daily stress or abuse on the systems can take its toll, and over time, can put our bodies and overall health in a precarious state. A malfunction or interruption in our body’s support systems causes pain, discomforts, irregularities, and many other health concerns. Once the Esodynamic technique has corrected the malfunctions, the body’s energy can be processed to promote a positive and healthier lifestyle, which can reduce stress on the body during the aging process.
The Esodynamic technique assists the body through the auto-correction process and helps to stabilize the support systems to their optimum condition. This can, in turn, reduce or prevent the risk of deterioration within the systems. The Esodynamic therapy also works with each body’s unique profile. The Esodynamic correction profile relates to the patient’s age, size, weight, lifestyle, habits, and work environment. These factors contribute to each person’s health condition and dominate the auto-correction process ultimately determining the time frame of the recovery.

How did the Esodynamic therapy evolve?
|
|
Two brothers, doctors Robert and Jean-Charles Bourbeau, were pioneers in introducing a different soft touch therapy to the upper regions of Quebec (Canada). They suspected the malfunctioning body to be the cause of sickness and not sickness to be the cause of the malfunctioning body. Through their studies, they discovered that an interruption within the human body can lead to a system malfunction and that the body reacts by going into protection mode. They also learned of the body’s limitations in fully mending some malfunctions, which would sometimes leave some areas in a compromised condition causing discomforts or pain.
They wanted to find a technique that would help the body when its protection system was stressed or lacked the potential to complete the healing process. Based on a theory that dates back to the early twentieth century, their research led them to develop and fine-tune a soft touch technique, which delivered amazing results with their already established practice. Their newly developed technique combined the principles of the body’s auto correction system and a unique leg-testing method. With this new therapy, they were able to detect the impingements, to assist the body in completing the auto-correction, and to restore the body’s functions to their potential.
Their reputation of being able to resolve health conditions that were believed impossible to deal with attracted interest from all over. The overwhelming success of the technique prompted Dr. Robert to want to share his knowledge, and in 1994, the privately owned Institut en Ésodynamie Robert Bourbeau was founded in LaSarre, Quebec.
Both brothers have since passed away and the secret of Esodynamics was shared with a select few. Fortunately, their memories and efforts live on through Martin Skody Esodynamic Centers. The patients of Doctors Jean-Charles and Robert Bourbeau have continued to use our services and recommend our therapy to their family and friends assuring the continuing growth of the Esodynamic therapy.

What does Esodynamics consist of?
|
|
Our alternative approach to healthcare is distinguishable from other therapies by the unique leg testing method we employ, and by the ease in applying our soft touch technique.
Leg Test: Through the leg-test, the Practitioner performs an overall evaluation of the muscular, skeletal, and visceral systems. This test detects any impingements inhibiting the support systems and determines the source of the interruption.
Manual Correction: Once the Practitioner has established where the source is located, the manual technique is applied to the trouble-point. This technique, which consists of directional stimulus, evokes the body into the auto-correction course.
Adaptation Stage: After the manual correction has been applied, the body requires time to process and unwind before receiving another application of the technique. The Practitioner will suggest the waiting time frame.
Maintenance Therapy: Returning for an examination at the change of the seasons can help the body to properly complete the conditioning transition and can reduce the tensions that cause primary health conflicts. Be aware of your body’s pains and irregularities, they may be warnings that illness is settling in.
Other essential factors to maintaining good health, and which we strongly recommend, are a well balanced diet, an active lifestyle, and an adequate amount of sleep. To know more about healthy eating, you can visit the Canadian Food Guide site.

Who can benefit from the Esodynamic therapy?
|
|
This therapy was developed to accommodate all ages and anyone suffering from mild, chronic, or acute malfunctions. The anticipated state of comfort and the degree of recovery depends on the health condition, the profile of the individual, and the challenges that must be overcome. One must remember that the body followed a path to its present health condition and no two bodies are the same. Dr. Robert Bourbeau always stated: You can’t rush a correction, it will take as long as the body will take.
A patient profile consists of many factors:
- Lifestyle: work environment and schedule, sport activities, hobbies, habits
- Environment: weather and ground conditions
- Physical: age, height, weight, fitness
- Health: dietary regimen, stress levels, medication, genetics
The Practitioner cannot predict the results of a recovery. The Esodynamist does not diagnose, cure, or treat the ailments: he renders a service, which assists the body into correcting itself. Only your body and time can produce the final outcome.

Maxwell. T. For years, I have endured this nagging pain in my lower back, accompanied by discomfort in my right hip, bloating, and constipation. Other therapies helped somewhat but the discomforts would return after a few days at work. After a few treatments of Esodynamics, Martin suggested to me the possibility of an outside source promoting my condition. He explained that I should avoid activities that could aggravate my back and give the area time to strengthen and stabilize. Concentrating on what Martin said, I realized that I was the cause of my own problem. When at my workstation, I would reach for something without properly turning my whole torso adding pressure on my lower back and this would pop a disk in my lower back. My back is fine now, and every few months, I go for an Esodynamic check up just to make sure everything is in place.
Cheryl L. I was unable to take a ten-minute walk to bring my children to school without limping or doubling over to relieve the pain. Martin has taken away the pain that I experienced 24 hours a day 7 days a week for approximately 7 years. I can now run, walk, and play with my children without having to take a rest to relieve the pain. Thanks Martin.
Jean-Marc L. I have had a sore back for as long as I can remember. I visited different doctors, took several medications, and tried many therapies such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, electric shocks, and nothing relieved my pain. One day, while my wife and I were having lunch in a local restaurant, the waitress noticed how I was bent over and in pain. She told me that I should see the guy across the street. I had no idea of what was about to happen to me. This man worked on me for 20 minutes. When I stood up, it was like a miracle. I was straight and the pain was gone. (Realized later that my pants were all 3 inches too short). From now on, every time my back goes out, I book an appointment with Martin. I am a great believer in Esodynamic therapy.
